Andy painted his first house at 19 — his neighbor’s, two doors down from where he grew up in Pittsboro. He didn’t set out to start a company. He set out to be the kind of painter who didn’t leave a single drop on the carpet and didn’t pad an invoice. Word got around fast.
Thirty-four years later, Circle City Paint Co is a small, deliberately small, operation. One working owner who is on every single job, and a handful of guys who’ve been on the crew long enough to know how Andy wants the cabinet faces sanded before they ever pick up the spray gun.

That philosophy shapes everything. Why we use Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore instead of whatever’s on sale at the big box store. Why we cover floors edge-to-edge instead of “mostly.” Why our quotes are flat and written and signed before a brush touches a wall.
It’s also why we stay close to home. We could chase work in Greensboro or Wilmington — we don’t, because we can’t do that and still be on every job ourselves. Chatham and the surrounding counties is the footprint we can serve right, and that’s the footprint we serve.
